Camp Bladium summer camp registration is OPEN. Camps run June 22-August 21.

Bladium Sports & Fitness continues to follow our local leaders and health agencies such as the Alameda Unified School Dist.Alameda County Health Dept., California Department of Public Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Since our initial response to the Coronavirus, we have implemented new protocols to ensure we are aligning our practices with the most up-to-date social distancing and shelter-at-home guidelines to help prevent the spread of any respiratory disease.

While we are working from home, our thoughts are never far from our customers. Our coaches, instructors, and managers have been sharing tips for staying sharp and in shape while away from Bladium. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Our billing cycle closes on the 1st of each month and automatic billing occurs on the 15th. On March 18th, the State of California ordered all gyms to close. Up until 3/18/20, we had every intention of remaining open under the guidelines of the county and CDC.  Upon closing, we immediately froze all fitness memberships.

Once we’re able to resume normal operations, all fitness memberships will thaw and billing will not resume until 30 days from the day we open. Any other questions or concerns regarding your membership will be handled once we reopen.

We are excited to announce Alameda CrossFit is reopening Monday, July 13th! When you are ready to reactivate your CrossFit membership, please contact us at AlamedaXFit@Bladium.com. No accounts will be charged until we hear from you.

To honor the missed time in March, those reactivating in July will not be charged until August 15th. During the reactivation process, we can take care of any additional changes to your account.

Bladium classes are now online! Join our NEW online classes lead by our own Bladium instructors. Classes repeat weekly so you can get back to, and stay on top of, your regular workout routine. FREE LES MILLS AT HOME WORKOUTS
Not ready to sign-up for Les Mills On Demand? Try one of these Les Mills At Home workouts created featuring 10 of their most popular programs. Unfortunately, any birthday parties scheduled between now and the end of the shelter-at-home will be postponed. Any families that have signed up and paid for a birthday party will receive a full refund, a credit to reschedule their party, or a credit to use for any other Bladium programs.

Since we are completely shut down, all credits and refunds will be processed once we’re able to resume normal operations. Any other questions or concerns regarding our birthday parties will be handled once we reopen.

While Bladium remains closed due to the statewide order, we are excited to announce that beginning Monday, June 22nd, Camp Bladium is back ON! Camps will look quite a bit different, but we are committed to providing your child(ren) with safe, active play and interaction with their peers. There will be many changes this summer and a strict regime of cleaning and social distancing. We will give you more information on the specifics before your camper’s camp.

Any families that have signed up and paid for any camps impacted by our closure will get a credit for future camps or a refund.

Since we are completely shut down, all credits and refunds will be processed once we’re able to resume normal operations. Any other questions or concerns regarding our camp programs will be handled once we reopen.

Here are a few of the changes that will directly impact you and your camper:

  • Camp hours are reduced to 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Per state guidelines, one coach will lead your child’s small group the duration of the week. This means a maximum of 8 hrs/day and 40 hrs/week for that coach.
  • Campers will be required to bring a mask to camp and wear it most of the day.
  • Campers will be dropped off and picked up via curbside check-in and check out. Please have the name of the camper(s) and who will be picking them up written on a piece of paper ready when you pull up.
  • Campers must bring their own lunch, snacks*, and a water bottle. Water fountains will be closed. Only the water bottle filling stations will be open. All campers must carry all lunches, snacks, water bottles, and any other personal items in a backpack. *Please note we are a nut-free facility.
  • Activities will shift to accommodate safety and social distancing. Expect more fun academic work, arts & crafts, reading activities, and fewer contact sports and physical activity as you have seen in past Camp Bladium summers.

It is our intention to complete the seasons of Lil Kickers and Skills Institute that were disrupted due to these closures. We will do our best to communicate to each of our communities about what the schedule will look like through direct communications as well as updates on our websites.

We know your kids are probably bouncing off the walls right now. So we’ve created a weekly video series aimed at helping kids stay active, burn off some energy, and keep up their skills. The videos feature staff teaching an age-appropriate skill-building activity that kids can do at home, as well as a fun non-soccer activity and a Q&A session hosted by Kicker.
