This program engages the athlete in all modalities of fitness: strength, speed, power, flexibility, and stability. Using the 3,2,1 interval approach: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs.
BODYCOMBAT™ is a non-contact, martial arts-based workout with moves drawn from Karate, Tae Kwan Do, Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Tai Chi. Supported by driving music and an instructor who models movements for you, you will strike, punch, and kick your way through calories to achieve superior cardio fitness. Each BODYCOMBAT™ class provides an exhilarating exercise experience that delivers ultra-fast fitness results. (60 minute class) Potential calorie burn: 545
BODYJAM™ is the cardio workout where you are free to enjoy the sensation of dance. An addictive fusion of the latest dance moves and hottest new sounds puts the emphasis as much on having fun as breaking a sweat. A 30-minute high-impact cardio workout like nothing else. Designed to burn fat and rapidly improve athletic capability, this explosive, 30-minute workout combines high impact body weight exercises and uses no equipment. Take this class 1-2x a week for maximum results. Lower options are available and all fitness levels welcome.
A 30-minute plyometric-based workout that delivers fast results! Combining the principles of explosive plyometrics and power agility training, you’ll build a powerful, agile and athletic body. RPM™ is a spinning class where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music and control the intensity of your workout with a resistance dial and pedal speed. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through 20-25 kilometers of hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training. Strength and Toning Classes
BODYPUMP™ is the fastest way to shape up and lose body fat. It’s a toning and conditioning class with weights, good for just about anyone who wants to add strength training into their aerobic workout. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises, such as squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast! (60 minute class) Potential calorie burn: 560
CXWORX™ is based on cutting-edge scientific research that combines the best of personal training with the energy of a group fitness class. It’s ideal for tightening your tummy and butt, while also improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention. Highly-trained instructors explain the science behind each exercise and challenge you to reach beyond your limits. (30 minute class) Potential calorie burn: 240
An intense 30-minute team training session that will blast all major muscle groups and take your training to the next level. Builds strength and tones lean muscle, increases metabolism after the workout, reduces fat, and develops lean muscle. Take this class 1-2x a week for amazing results! All fitness levels welcome.
A more traditional approach to abdominal training by using high repetition body weight exercises such as crunches, twists, and low back work. The class is taught in layers from easy to difficult so that any participant can work at their own level. The occasional use of stability ball exercises and mat Pilates are mixed in. All exercises will target the abdominal and low back muscles to improve endurance, tone, and strength. This class includes a warm up and stretch. (30 minute class)
Take the ultimate challenge to completely sculpt the entire body with functional free weight training. Work every muscle by using big weight lifting movements that burn massive calories, build great coordination, balance, and control. Top it off by fusing in cardio intervals to increase heart rate and improve cardio endurance. This class will even build up agility and power, improve posture and CORE endurance, and tone legs, waist, arms, and hips. We use stability balls, dumbbells, barbells, resistance bands, and the step bench. (45 minute class)
Bladium Barre is a trendy new class that integrates the fat-burning format of interval training with muscle-shaping isometrics to quickly and safely reshape the entire body. Its non-impact, one-hour workout targets all major muscle groups and improves posture. The result is a body featuring sculpted arms, flat abs, a lifted seat, and elongated thighs.
Mind / Body Classes
Wado Ki Kai Karate system is a combination of traditional and contemporary styles of training. Martial Arts using Katas, Strikes, drills, and light sparring. all levels welcome
BODYFLOW™ is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance. It’s your personal time out from the stress and strains of daily life – a group exercise-to-music class that enhances your physical and mental well-being. Relax and invigorate the body and mind with poses, breathing techniques, and meditation to increase strength, flexibility, and focus. Anusara (a-nu-sar-a) means ’flowing with grace’, ’going with the flow’, ’following your heart’. Anusura Yoga is a unique, therapeutic style of Hatha Yoga in which the artistic expression of the human heart blends magically with the scientific principles of biomechanics. (60 minute class)
Uses postures, breathing and meditative awareness to align body & limber-up the spine. Hatha Yoga is a powerful tool for stress management & greatly benefits all body systems.
Core Hatha Yoga – Postures are held slightly longer, has an ab/core strengthening, and a stronger standing sequence. Gentle inversions are explored and modifications and props can be used.
This class will fire up your core as you practice posture alignment, demanding sequences, and build heat by connecting breath to movement. Alignment meets power when you tap into this full body workout, unleash your inner core warrior!
Sooth your body through postures done in a warm room environment (70-85 degrees) using massive range to challenge, flow, and breathe deep within your body. Explore postures and fundamental principals of (hot) Yoga. This foundation building class will work every muscle in your body at a beginner/intermediate pace. Turn up the temperature in your body and turn stress into sweat!
